About Jane
Jane Selle Morgan is an award-winning director and producer with over 20 years of experience in film, television, and branded content. Known for her keen visual storytelling and joyful leadership, she brings emotional depth and imaginative style to every project.
As the co-founder of Skycar Creative, a Bay Area-based moving picture studio, Jane led the creation of cinematic live-action and design-driven work for clients like Adobe, Facebook, and Google. After nearly a decade helping to build Skycar’s creative identity and global client base, she exited the company to pursue other creative endeavors and is back on the market as a freelance director.
Now freelancing from her base in Kīlauea, Hawai‘i, Jane continues to direct and produce a range of work—from narrative shorts to commercial campaigns—collaborating with teams that value an intuitive leader who loves the work.
Her film Little Point Richmond, an 8-minute documentary exploring the whimsical world of fairy houses crafted by a local artist in Point Richmond, has been featured at several film festivals, including the Albany FilmFest and the San Francisco Documentary Film Festival.
Jane’s portfolio also includes cult-favorite projects like The Guild, Gorgeous Tiny Chicken Machine Show, and the magical short Timezoned. A frequent speaker and creative mentor, she’s passionate about magical realism, community storytelling, and making space for voices that need to be celebrated.
Jane is also the co-host and editor of the Medium Curious Podcast.
Based in Kīlauea, Hawai‘i, Jane is available for directing, producing, and creative consulting across mediums.
